Their teeth weren’t exactly pearly white but it did help that they didn’t eat a bunch of sugary stuff.

well, the foods they ate were pure, and non-processed. so, they didnt eat all of the sugars that we eat it the modern world.

Today’s dental cavities are caused by REFINED sugars, and the bacteria that use them for their own metabolism. Way back when, these refined sugars did not exist, so the extent of decay was not as bad as it is today. However, decay still occurred. Even very early man, had their own versions of toothbrushes.
